I hope to get some opinions on if this coin is real or fake.

On the holder it has written

Valentinian I
A.D. 364 - 375

It is a thin coin and about 20MM across.

Any opinions if it might be real.

Not Valentinian, but Licinius II.

Yes it is Licinius II.
Appears to be real and actually a little 'gem' despite the reverse double strike.

By the way I believe it is Rome mintage and the reverse is the IOVI CONSERVTORI type ( Zeus Saves ! )
Licinius II was with his father the last of the old pagan emperors. Being the nephew of a saint (Constantine the Great) didn't save him from getting a last haircut from his uncle.

As already stated, Licinius II. A very nice, genuine example.
