Its a 1878-S Mint Error Morgan dollar NGC VF-25 Partial Collar. I think it's a beautiful piece and considering buying it but is it considered a VAM?. http://www.brokencc.com/images/prod...7002_obv.jpg

All Morgan dollars have a VAM number but the partial collar would be an error(a one-time event), not a variety, so it would not be part of the VAM designation for that particular coin.
