Hi guys I carry my Morgan dollar in a airtite, now the problem is its scratching the airtite right by the ear, is there a way I can put something on the edge to prevent it happening, I'm scared its gonna mess up the coin its scratching right by the ear, please help

They make airtites with foam inserts. These hold the coin tight without damage. They are readily available in the U.S. but you may need to order them online and pay a premium to get them to S. Africa.

I don't carry.what some folks call a "pocket piece", but I do have a Morgan in an Air-tite. I pulled it out and shook it, and can't hear it move one bit.

Is yours in a genuine Air-tite, or is it in a different brand of plastic capsule? Can you hear the coin move when you shake it? If so, I would either quit carrying it, or put it in a different capsule.

The airtite I have is chinese made I inserted a thin plastic strip on the edges of the coin it did the trick its tight now, no rattling what so ever tried shaking it lightly then very violently but no rattle

That's good to hear. Glad you got it fixed. Don't know if you have any interest, but these folks say they're competitive on international shipments. It's who I mostly buy from. Website is not very intuitive/easy to use, so be sure you know what you're looking at. Good luck!
