i want the dead Merriam and Websters to both pronounce it that way so I can hear it BEFORE I buy that! Maybe they need to look it up in their Funk & Wagnalls, cause I will NOT buy that for a dollar!

Maybe the WotD crew does not use their own dictionary, or at least use the same pronunciation method?

I'm sure that coin collecting started shortly after the Lydians made the first coins, but I think counterfeiting coins would have started before before collecting them did.

(aside: if this becomes an on-going thread, great!)
