The coin is authentic.If you like the coin as is you should bid on it but looks like the details will not improve much with cleaning

I agree that the coin is an "as is" type with no improvements to be made.
But it is a nice portrait of 'Alex' with the elephant headdress !
I would be surprised if it doesn't take a jump up over 20 at the close !
Actually if I did not have this 'foolish' inclination to be courteous I would throw in a bid myself !
But that would be something against my nature .......
So instead I will wish you the best my friend.

I really think it is worth at least double the current bid
I would consider at least 20 if you like it.

Very good !
I started out my adventures in coin collecting with an 'Alex' drachm (slightly damaged) way back in AD 1976 !
Always best to get your first coin with the superlative "the Great" attached !
Later you can get "the not so Great" !
