Hey Everybody,

I am slowly completing my hourly clockface of these upset coins.

So far I have managed to get: 12, 1, 4, 6, 8 and 9 o'clock

I'm Still missing 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 11.

Was wanting to know who else is attempting to do this? Would love to see some photos of peoples collections so far :)

Sfitzernator - I empathize with you !

On the old Australian Coin Forum (disappeared into the ether some years ago, but some on CCF will remember it - SAP, Nancy ?) -
there was a contributor (sorry, can't recall his name) who made a protractor, where you lined up the Queen on one side, turned it over, and read the quantum of rotation.
Then he made a "clockface", where each coin displayed the appropriate rotation at each of the cardinal points.
He then started on a set of "half-pasts" (15 deg, 45, 75, 105, etc).
You might say that he was "highly focussed" ...
but he uploaded a lot of pics to the old site.

Sadly, last I heard, there were no publicly-accessible archives from that site.

There is a current Australian coin forum where there are 2 members who have completed "clock faces".
I think one of them is the person Peter is referring to, and has a clock face on display at the mint in Canberra.
I have been working on a clock face too, but other things have gotten in the way for a while.
Good luck with completing your one!

Here's the RAM clockface display when it was on show in Melbourne. Last I saw it was in the Mint top floor display.

....

A nice display even though the 11 o'clock upset looks to be out by a bit.
It would be nice to see the obverse of the mule.

This is on display at the mint and I have seen info on how careful the collector has been with his measuring.
I would trust that he got it right.
