As the title said,

I just received my Stereo Micro scope in the mail and a standard mag will no longer do!

The clarity is AMAZING !

When looking at the REV of a LMC I feel as though I could actually Walk up the stairs and sit at the base of the President's Statue.

I LOVE it!

If any of you can I would recommend trying one.

* Now if I could just get PICTURE'S to look this way.

Is this one that you have to look through or is this one that sends the image directly to a computer? Yes, there are digital microscopes that allow you to view and click images from a computer attached. I don't know if they would work on coins.

This one that will do BOTH.

The Main unit is stand alone to provide a 3-D (stereo scopic), of the coin and then you can also use a cam with it.

If you noticed in picture #3 you can see my USB scope on a different stand till I can get an adapter to mount it on the scope. That way I can do Both, View in "3-D" AND view it on the screen and get photo's/video with it.. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

I think you can even mount a dSLR rig to it as well.

I have to look further into that aspect of it still though to see weather I want to do that or just have a stand alone for hi-def/res picture's.

Just received it yesterday so I am still having a good time trying to unlock all of it's potential.

P.s.

Yes, If you look at my Avatar, that was taken with the USB scope to the right of my new baby in the third picture.

According to the book, I can get a full field of view of 57.1mm with the Barlow lens in place at a mag of 3.5x

I have not tried yet.

BUT, when I do I WILL post!

Unless you mean the USB scope I have, then Yes. I can get an Ike dollar in full view.
