Gives me a total of 6, along with a blue ike.

My goal is 20 1971 brown ikes, i'll keep you all posted.

Just a update- I've been paying $7.50 for these out the door, and now he's started giving me the brown box ones for the same price!

I pay $6.50-$7.00 for mine, $7.50 sounds about right.

I wouldn't stop at 20, by the way, at those prices. I'm up to 50 browns and 40 blues. :)

It wasn't too long ago these were over $10 in melt alone. This price range is a good opportunity to load up on these!

I feel these are undervalued as well. Wish I could get them for $6.50-$7

Mullen - Not sure about everyone else, but I'm able to get them off of ebay. The key is to look for someone with a large quantity to sell and offer $6- $7 each for about 10 of them. I'm sure you will get a bite after some attempts.

Hmmmm. I may look into trying this. Good suggestion.

That strategy works with things besides Ikes, as well, just FYI. Sellers save plenty of money and time when they can stuff everything into one box. It's a lot easier on them to do one transaction than 10 separate transactions.

My guy was funny, he didn't know how many he had, and what they were selling for, just kept pulling them out from all kinds of places, and looked at the $7 tag on 1 of them and called it a day- no sales tax, etc- . As of today, I get junk silver @ 16.50xface . Just a random update.

Question for you Ike hoarders (of which I am one), are you breaking the browns and blues out or leaving them in the original package?

Dang I need some silver ikes for my new Dansco Album page I am adding to it.

Six random proof silvers and six random BU silvers.
I all ready got one of each, lol.

I was going to do the whole set again but said to myself, Do I really want a second album?
(The reason is I can't enjoy having more than one of something.)

jprine, I have been getting alot out of the set, I figure I only need 1 sealed blue ike, and 1 sealed brown box ike for show, the rest are better stored in a Canadian maple lead tube for me!

Yes. Yes, you do. I have completed two Dansco albums myself. It was just as much fun the second time around. But I'm not done yet. Ten sounds like a nice, round number.

I crack all of them out, except for the OGP set I have graded.

I leave mine in the OGP unless they're a blue pack and tremendously high end.
