Hey everyone. I picked up this large copper coin yesterday. Thought I'd share it with everyone here and ask a few questions to see if anyone can help me get a proper ID on this thing.

Counterstamped-1796-Brazil-40-Reis

Now the questions I have is that the dealer had it labeled as a ND (1809) brazil 80 reis. The host coin is a 1796 brazil 40 reis, which I am able to find info on but am having trouble finding any info on the counterstamped version besides a picture here and there. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
