Nova Scotia and New Brunswick medals hold a special place in my collection, so I thought I'd show my latest addition. It was struck in 1970 by the Wellings Mint to celebrate the completion of the new YM-YWCA in Dartmouth, NS. There were three version stuck: aluminum, bronze and .999 antique silver, which is this one. It is 40mm and weighs 34g. Each silver piece, although the mintage isn't known, is edge numbered - this one being #11.
