You guys have any feedback? A few coins I have are in these boxes. I like how you can see the label of a graded coin. I wanted to order more as the web site is on the box. Or do you guys have any other suggestions on how to store slabs? I saw a wooden box that had several drawers and the top was glass. Looked like you could store at least 60-80 graded coins in the top. Dont know about the drawers. Thanks

Simple solution. Do as I do and crack the coin out of the slab and put in an Album.

Really? What are the pros and cons of this? Is it just preference?

It is just personal preference and some old time collectors dislike slabs with a passion. Personally I keep mine in PCGS and NGC boxes. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

Here's what I use. Lighthouse Grande binders, they come with a nice hard cover. Inside I use the encap pages for slabs. It is a bit of an investment, but is a beautiful way to display them. Nice part is once they are in the pages they cannot fall out. The rings on the binder need to be open and the page removed to open the page so there is no worries of them slipping out if the binder is accidentally held or carried upside down.

Machine20 is correct. It's a 91-s. My two favorites are my 1878 7TF rev of 78 in NGC MS63 and my 1882 CC in PCGS MS64+

I like the album for slabs route if storing at home and not in a safe. Most cases in a burglary (knock on wood it never happens) the thieves really don't mess with books, as they are too heavy, and don't have any real value to most idiots robbing anyways. Heck just the books next to my bedside would easily fetch $2K on quick ebay sales. The Lighthouse album doesn't really have the coin album look either, hidden is good!

I have two fat boy gun safes, one for guns (duh!) and the other for coins and other valuables. I keep all my lighthouse binders in the safe even though they do look like regular books....just hate the idea of taking a chance.
