OK I tried really hard to get better pictures. I hope someone can tell me if it is a coin worth saving or not.

Hey there Veronica,

I would hold on to that coin myself. Put it in a 2 x 2 flip and hang onto it. At the very least you can use it in a collection until you can find a nicer specimen and even though 1954 isn't 'THAT OLD' someone is always looking for place holders in albums.

That's my opinion.

If you think about it, what can you get for a 5 cent piece anyway? 5 cents.

IF it does prove to be a VAR coin then you wont be beating yourself up about not keeping it.
