I've noticed the 2014 Charlton doesn't really cover die varieties and errors, is there a book anyone can suggest that covers these. I know
coinsandcanada.com covers this quite extensively, but I'm looking for something printed to go with my Charlton. Thanks!

There is the book by Charest, I have one here somewhere, but between Charlton's and coinsandcanada you've pretty well got it covered for modern coins. You could buy earlier Charlton's for the back section features.

Each successive Charlton from the past several years has covered different varieties from different denominations as seen in the back pages.

The 2011 was vicky large cent varieties and the 2010 was the small 5 cent vicky varieties and the 10 cents was the previous year as so on back quite a few years. Always something new in the back of each new Charlton "Vol 1"

I know of no one book that carries them all and naturally there are new finds all of the time so it's an ongoing process.

The Zoell varieties books from the 60's are still an interesting reference and still referred to.

There is also Jack Griffin's "Some die Varieties of the large cents of British North America and Canada" reprinted in 2010 that's an interesting read.

A good selection of error articles can be found in the RCNA online archives of the CN Journal. Since the mid-2000s, Henry Nienhuis has been writing articles about errors. Free access to members of the RCNA.

If you contact the author he would probably have one for you. It's a nice little guide. Pretty old now but accurate. Some of the images are of Pat Glassford's coins. The more error coin books you can get, the better!
