Peru - Arequipa 1/4 Real 1839 - Holed But Quite Scarce

Here is a scarce little 1/4 real minted at Arequipa in Peru in 1839 during the years of the Peru-Bolivia Confederation War of 1836-1839. Only few examples appear to exist, probably due to the turmoil caused by that war.
I have only seen 2 or 3 examples appear for sale over the last 15-20 years. The Lissner sale just completed had a beautiful example graded mint state something.

I was happy two find this one at auction - hole and all!
