I don't know too much about these.
Is this a regular strike or is it a PL restrike coin?

I can see why the question was asked, but I don't have the answer, unfortunately.
Proof coins produced in 1932, as a general rule, did not have polished fields.
It may very well be a proof restrike, or simply a specimen restrike as can be seen from the pictures.

Perhaps Mint records may shine some light to provide a definitive answer, but those records may very well prove hard to obtain, unless
Spinks in their Numismatic Bulletin, or
B.A Seaby in their Numismatic Circular, may have an article published.

Noble Numismatics in Sydney may be able to provide a better answer than me, they may have a bibliographic record to a required to a relevent published article.

The British Numismatic Association may also have a reference to a relevent published article.

Superb coin!

Thanks Sel.
I have since found out on the new Australian forum that my coin is a normal strike, thank goodness .
I was concerned that my coin was a restrike/fake.
I know that the restrikes are more valued for some strange reason But I am more than happy that I have secured a good coin that was meant for circulation in this year
