Hi All,

Im curious for some advice on this one, I have 500x $10 notes set aside that are uncirculated, in an armaguard sealed bag, with serial numbers in order starting at CC 08 688536.

I'm going to pick out the serials like:
CC08688680
CC08688886

other than these for the specific serials, would there be any further value in holding onto sequential sets?

From what I noticed the Serial range was between
CC08688536 - CC09688952.

I ask mainly due the the prefix being CC, I'm not the most knowledgeable with banknotes.

Thanks for reading, Any feedback would be appreciated, Thankyou.

In that S/N range, the most valuable is probably CC08888888
CC08888880 would also have value. as well as the rest of the CC0888888x notes
Another of value would be CC090000000 and probably CC090000009 and CC090000090

Also repeaters like CC09191919191 etc.

Sorry if I have too many or too few digits, but you see my point.

Oops, there is an inconsistency in your post, you state you have 500 of them, and also state the S/N are CC08688536 - CC09688952. So disregard my previous post as it was based on the serial number range.

If you have the patience to hang onto it for 50 years or so then it might be worth something but at the moment you are only likely to get a small premium on the notes with interesting serial numbers.

CC is a general prefix so it wont add any value and even consecutive modern notes don't have a big market. They are too easy to find in teller machines.
