I recently lost my lucky Israeli 10 New Shequel coin and can't seem to get a replacement. I tried several Israeli banks, but they only deal with large currency. The Israeli Govt. Mint sells these in a set but it must get shipped from Israel and I must use a money order for payment; my Visa has expired. Are there any US dealers selling Israeli coins who accept US money orders? Thanks.

I'd look on online auctions like ebay. You will need a card if some sort though. US dealers may have them but it depends on the dealers in your area. Look on the internet for local dealers.

Thanks but local dealers only are interested in dealing with coins of gold or silver. There used to be dealers who sold circulating coins but are hard to find.

Thanks I had to buy an entire set of uncircs to get the 10 NS coin. Then learned they were all minted in South Korea.

Heck, if I'd known of it earlier, I would've asked my uncle or something.
Israeli 10 sheqel coins are cool. They're also ludicrously common... I can't imagine why did you have trouble finding any, actually.
Did you try visiting a low-end store or coin show? It could be that the usual dealers just don't stock anything that common; the more-than-usual face value doesn't help either.

You are right; coin dealers won't bother with the 10 NIS coin so I had to purchase an entire UNC set from the Israeli mint. They should cost about $2. I'd still like 2 or 3 loose ones as they remind me of Euros.
