I liked the portrait on this one, hopefully the reverse will clean up a little.   A similar coin is on wildwinds as: Trajan Decius AR Antoninianus. IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG, radiate, draped & cuirassed bust right /PANNONIAE, the two Pannoniae standing front holding standards. RIC 21b, RSC 86. Won't know if it is silver until I get it in hand. |

Pretty nice. I think it looks fine as is. Its a Pannoniae reverse, like my example below:  Edited by VisigothKing

Nice coin! Like the the portrait. The rx has nice toning. I would try an acetone bath for cleaning.

cool coin pish, very solid obverse, cool portrait but I dig a sweet legend as well....I still need one of the "other Trajan".

Received it this morning. It weighs in at 4.66g and is 22-24mm. I have decided to leave the toning alone, so it will remain uncleaned, it is pretty enough as it is, I don't want to mess it up.
