Just a quick update to further confirm my newbie status when it comes to purchasing coins: I was too quick to shout 'scam', probably influenced by all the bad things I've been hearing about online purchasing. Turns out the seller was ill and unable to come to his computer for the week. Coins should arrive tomorrow.
Oops, my bad!

post them when you get them, I'd like to see some nice pics of them.

They arrived! I aim to purchase a nice macro camera once I get a proper collection going, but for now the scanner will suffice. Please don't identify the first three for me, as I aim to do that research myself (the reason I bought them). I'll surely have to ask for help seeing as they look rather difficult. :) I have somewhat uncertainly identified the fourth of the bunch as belonging to Crispina, with Juno on reverse. I'd love to hear if I was correct with this (yes / try again... no help please!). Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my very first silvers. I'll likely end up selling them for a small profit after identification to get a camera for prettier pictures. And perhaps a pretty denarius!

Thanks Pish. Naturally, I'm now spending most of my efforts identifying the remaining three. I'm giddy as a kid on Christmas.
I'm thinking the third one is Marcus Aurelius as Caesar, with a IVVENTAS (Juventas) reverse.
Marcus Aurelius, Rome mint, AR denarius, AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F COS, bare-headed, draped bust right. / IVVENTAS, Iuventas standing facing, head left, right hand dropping a grain of incense onto candelabrum-altar, and holding patera. (bust type not in RIC).
If I'm correct, I couldn't be happier. Best 20 euro ever spent for me.
Edit: Sorry for kicking this thread for every update. I hope this is not frowned upon in forum etiquette.

Far left is very interesting. Paint it bronze and you could hide it in a pile of SECVRITAS REIPs.

True, except the obverse (curled hair?) seems to have nothing in common the Gratianvs/Valens/Valentinianvs I & II coins. I'm actually looking into it and I'm kind gravitating towards Lucius Verus, but have not looked at it closer. As always - no spoilers. ;)

it looks like some of that stuff will come off, are you going to clean them MS?
i haven't cleaned silver coins, but I've seen the impressive results of several forum members here.
