Hi all,

Was looking through LCS melt bin and found this 1940 Half crown with apparent die break. I showed it to the owner and he confirmed it was, due ddn't discuss it much more.

So, my question.. Is it? Rarity and worth keeping?
My first real foray into old UK coins...
I thank you.....

As far as UK coin collecting goes, I don't think minor errors such as this carry much if any premium.

A very common piece in worn grade, the melt bin was probably the proper place for this.
