I lost my pocket piece, I must have dropped it from my jacket pocket when I was walking around Toronto Island. A bit sad that I won't get to wear it down anymore, but it's not too much of a big deal since it's not a high-value coin and I only paid face for it (plus transport and effort to look for it).

I love pocket piece threads! I'm currently carrying a 1971 Blue Ike, a bicentennial Kennedy and a 2007 Adams. Had the Adams since practically new, got it as change on the Metro in DC in 2008.

Took photos of it back around 9/15/2012:

I didn't take pictures of the Blue Ike before tearing open the celo and plopping it in my pocket. It was unremarkable and hazy. It's developing slowly and is hard to get decent photos of. Here were the best:

I do love the way pocket wear brightens a coin up. Reserving judgement on the Ike for another year or so, I do love the way it rings when flipped.

I didn't discover my interest in coins until I moved up to Canada, but when I found my first US dollar worth keeping as a pocket piece, I snagged it up. The piece was already well, well worn when it fell into my hands, including the nice hole, but I've sure polished it up nice and mirror-like!

It's a nice little reminder of what I've always liked most about homeland coinage and also serves as a piece of silver should I ever need it in emergency!
