yup, but out of curiosity, how do the brasher doubloon copies seem to avoid that?. can you put a date instead of the word copy? or initials?

why would you need to put the word "copy" on something that is not considered currency? I get it for circulating coins and such....but is putting the word "copy" on an object like this law or just good morals?

Hobby Protection Act. Look it up. Selling these things without copy on them is illegal in the US.

Never could figure out why China doesn't put Made In China on all their fakes. They put it on everything else we have in out stores.

I like counterfeits when they're more of an art than a profit seeking counterfeits, I'd collect them

Ive got a full copy collection of all early US colonials, I could never afford real ones, but it gives makes me happy to see them on the wall.
