This is a FIRST.

So, the wife stopped by the bank and picked up a box of pennies for me, nice lady.

The only thing is it's a solid box of 2014's.

I check some sites and have found so far that only Wexlers has anything on them.

2 hole varities to search for. Oh well, maybe I'll Find a new one.

It IS hard.

It's like they purposely smoothed all the sharp edges off the designs to make it harder.

It also looks like the plating is so thin that it won't last a month in circulation.

I have also found a lot of die cracks as well and I am going to set these aside for now.

Who knows?

Personally I would just set that box in a bag and sit on it for a few decades making sure they're stored in great condition.

When I got my first box of 2014's I filed them away without looking at it. Sort of like for posterity. The second and third boxes I just returned to the bank. Been doing this since 2010.

Now you're telling me that I should be checking them out. I think that I'll just leave that for either my kids or grandkids.

However, I will be checking out the 2014's that I find loose in the boxes that I roll search.

I think that I still have a shot at things.

I know there is a nice DDO and a few trail dies for 2014. You should keep a few unopened rolls,HT people want the most. Also look for any high grades or a new find of some sort. Good luck and let us know what you find.
