Personally, I prefer the 81 myself but I think you did fine on the pair. I believe the 80 is probably awesome looking in person.

While its noted that some of those marks could just be the digital camera enhancing them, they are still there. But on the 1880 they aren't scratches. Just luster breaks. And a few spots on the fields that almost look like they could be cleaned but I wouldn't dare.. don't worry.

Yeah the 1881 really is nice. I haven't seen MS64 coins with such drastic shiny mirrors like this. Keep in mind I haven't been around too much looking at morgans in person so in my limited experience it looks great to me. Very reflective, unlike other morgans I have had or seen with a similar grade.

I am happy with the coins. I need to figure out how to get the best photos out of them. I would almost wish I had pro that I could send the 1880 to, to get an honest opinion on it in person. Oh well. =)
