That's because the last several times they didnt have any halves or cwr dimes Since I was in the area I figured give it another try. Glad I did, the teller had $20 in halves which produced 2x1965, 4x1967, 2x1968, and 3x1969

Wow, that's impressive. I've only found a 1965 half in a single roll of halves.

I always have luck at the same credit union, every couple months they have some old rolls, and every time I almost don't ask. nice score!!

Well here's an update I went back to the same bank to see if they had anymore halves, they didn't however they had $30 in cwr dimes I found 1928, 1943 mercuries, as well as 1960D, 1963D and 4 1964Ds One roll contained 6 silvers the other 2 I'm guessing these guys are now a more regular stop

Can you go to a bank you do not use and ask them for rolls?

Most banks will sell them to me account or no and probably 99% will sell there halves ( they are happy to be rid of them ) once in a rare while I encounter a teller who is a real D bag fortunately they are the exception.
