? We spent rolls of silver dimes all the time in the '60's, shoot, my brother and I would rake a large lawn and get paid one dime each!
Up until about '68-'70, silver was common in change, even as thousands of citizens were hoarding...I remember back about 1977, as a teen, my buddy's mom brought out a fruit jar full of 'mercs...they had accumulated an entire jar of silver in just a few years...
And it's still possible in this day and age, through roll hunting, to amass a large amount of silver. Shoot, I've piled up 1,000+ silver dimes the last few years, and I'm small scale, part-time.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...
