Hi, I am newbie in this field and would like to ask couple of questions about one of the notes I inherited from father.

Does this note looks to you genuine?

What about line I found on the top of the bill, looks like a cutting guide line, will it be considered as error?

Question-About-1000-$-Cleveland-Note

How about extra flower in picture 2

Yes, it appears genuine. That part you circled is a "guideline" on the sheet. It does not add or subtract value. The Chicago Fed Reserve is a common issue for this note. Value probably around $1200-1400.

Hold it up to the light and see if there are pinholes. They often are present. If not, then that is a major plus. Welcome to the forums. Don't try to mess with it, and please don't spend it!
