Could anyone tell me what this coin is worth? Or if it is even worth anything? I'm not the most informed when it comes to coins so I figured I would ask here. Thank you in advanced for anyone who can answer!

If you were selling this to a coin dealer you should expect 2 - 3 cents for it.

..awurster, enjoy your stay with us!

Do you think it may be a double date? ..if so, we would need larger photos.

Welcome to CC!

1955's are common, as other said 3-5 cents in value. If it were in uncirculated, mint-state condition, it'd be worth at least a buck or two.

Your coin appears to be what is known as a poor man's double die. Note the last 5 in the date. See what appears to be doubling to the right of the 5? This is what is known as Machine Doubling and many people sell those for about $10 but in much, much better condition. Yours is just worth a few cents.
