That's a lovely album you have going!
I don't know why *some* collectors consider this series to be second class coins.
Most of my dark ones are from the pre-1926 years and have been picked from 'junk silver' sources. The toning varies a lot on these, and seldom is it consistent on both sides.
PM me and we can discuss swapping. I don't want to clutter your thread with personal stuff.
And do skip the spray paint pleeze... the other 'ladies' in my set would be hollering 'imposter'.

Ant, have you gotten pics of the dark Peace dollar yet?

I know, I always liked the design on the Peace dollar better anyway. ("Blasphemy!" I can already hear it...) Peace dollars were unpopular since they rolled out of the Mint. They never really ended up surpassing the Morgan in popularity. It is kind of great that they are an underrated series, you can get uncirculated ones for cheap. I was planning on taking advantage of this and buying a certified common date Peace in the 62-64 range. I doubt I'll pay more than $40.

That's a beautiful set, Ant. Is the second page complete?

Here's a nice dark 1921. Lots of interest.
