C'mon, people, where is your faith?
Clearly, the person who opened the coin box was blindfolded. They then passed the coins to their colleagues sitting nearby, who all had their vision sufficiently impaired that all they could make out were the dates. Don't ask me how they did that, maybe they wore each other's glasses, or something.

I can imagine the conversation now...
Quote:
Martha: Hey, look, it's one of those 1955 double-die things...
Jimbo: Martha! What are you doing?!? We're not supposed to be searching these coins!
Martha: But Jimbo, this one is so obvious, even with these glasses I can tell...
Jimbo: I don't care! We promised those people a roll of unsearched coins, and we're NOT going to search them! Now toss that coin back in the pile and go find your father's reading glasses - your eyesight's still too good!
These people must have gone to considerable trouble - and endured no small amount of sacrifice - just to bring you a roll of coins that is guaranteed to be both unsearched and contain nothing but 1940-1958 wheats. The least you could do is believe them...
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
