Poll Question
Just want to know the average number of silver coins all you dime roll searchers usually find in a box...

just got skunked on $850 in dimes the last couple of days. Going back to Nickels for a while.

I had parental leave a few weeks ago for two weeks. Since I had a good bit of time on my hands while the baby was sleeping. I divulged in in dimes. I usually do halves. But in two weeks I searched 3200 in dimes and found 14 silvers. 13 rosie's and one 42 merc. Now after doing halves, quarters and dimes. I would say dimes are probably the most consistent in my area. Not really a high quantity but your bound to find one or two every box or so.

Had to vote 0 because there is no fractions. So far found 1 silver roosie in 4 boxes.

For up here in Canada it seems to be 1 or 0 silver dimes per box but that's me, I don't know if other peoples results are different at all. carloscoria, I find it surprising that you got skunked on that much dimes like that's a lot of dimes, you should of had a chance at least. I guess the things are just getting rarer and rarer.  |

Last two or three years I gave up boxes for cwr, and averaged about $2k in hand rolled per month, for a 1/$150 average (over six years).
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

Most I have found in a box was 9, and this was the month of August.

Dimes are almost consistent in my area. 1 or 2 per box. I've currently gone to getting just a few odd rolls and searching those for silver or prime examples of coins that have not been roughly treated. I've been able to put together a couple rolls of extremely good quality dimes for the last few years from both mints.
