Moldovia and Wallachia para/3 dengi. Considering the surface issues it's worth around $100 at most.

The country is known in the English-language catalogues as "Moldavia & Wallachea". There are two varieties of this coin (the 1 para / 3 denga) dated 1772; one weighs about 12 grams, the other about 10 grams; the 10 gram version is more valuable. NGC database pages for them can be found here and here. I do not know how badly the corrosion will affect the value.

Taking into account the amount of posts you guys have I would expect you to be more knowledgeable about this item. But as I see you are not. The two gentlemen that have replied are referring to the "VALOSK" version and not "VALAK". Please be more careful in giving your replies. "VALAK" version is much MUCH rare and valuable.
P.S. It is better to remain silent if you dont know what to say!

If you already know what it is, why not tell us? We're used to people not knowing anything at all about the coins they post to be valued - maybe you should have said "What is this variety worth?" since you already have the kind of basic information we are usually expected to give. Though not an expert in this series, the surfaces are VERY questionable. I would not buy this coin or if I had purchased it would send it back.

Yes, and it is better to be polite to those who you expect to do a service for you. Sorry if I hurt someones' feelings but it is better to give no information than the wrong one! Dont you think?

I know of this coin and it is rare. I do not know of any recent price data and I would have to speak to a collector/dealer friend of mine. The edge picture should have a design. I see hints of it but I'm not sure. I do however see the item on ebay that you are looking at. The item is listed at VF, then again at XF, and it is neither of those grades. It is far lower, with issues. Also, have you purchased from the seller in the past? I personally would not spend that amount of money for a non-slabbed coin, with a no-return policy, from a seller who does not specialize in coins. Is it your listing or are you looking to buy?

Despite the corrosion, it does have good details on it. On top of this, this is a scarcer variety of Valak instead of Valosk. Authencity wise, I believe it is likely to be genuine.
Asking the question in this forum may not have been the best as you are not dealing with people who specialize in this particular coinage. In this particular case, I believe the value of this coin depends on what the market is willing to pay. I think it may be worth a thousand dollars give and take but again, I must repeat - this is just my estimate. It could be a lot more, it could be less.
