The coin is from the Ptolemaic kingdom, possibly Ptolemy III but that's just a guess.

it does look like a ptolemy coin, you can see the "BASILEWS" there one right reverse. could also be seleucid.
is it silver, or just it just look that way on the reverse pic?

Certainly Ptolemaic and relatively late due to the cruder style of the eagle. Probably Ptolemy IX from Paphos, cf. Svoronos 1670.
