I recently purchased the following coin:
1793-Wreath-Cent
1793-Wreath-Cent

Grade-wise I see it as an XF-light obverse scratches.
I just wanted to share as this is the prettiest Wreath cent I've ever owned.

The lighting throws me off. I don't know what to grade it. Try using normal light

Hard to tell from these pics. Are those polishing lines in front of liberty's face?

Nice coin but I have to agree this probably isn't true to color.

Likely a lovely example of a treasured coin ... more accurate lighting would hopeful result in photos that depict the coin 'as is'.

I'm not smart enough to evaluate the lighting and possible polishing. In my world it is a beautiful coin - congratulations

Sorry, they are not my pictures, I purchased the coin on-line. I will take pics with my camera when I receive the coin in hand. I'm hoping to have it in time for the Long Beach Expo on Thursday so I can get it certified.

vermontensium, I'll be the guy wearing the Black T-Shirt that says "OBUMR" on it in white letters. Say hi if you see me.

The coin looks to have nice details, but like others have said; it's hard to grade with the lighting.

Based on what I can see so far, I'm thinking you're using EAC standards to grade this puppy.

Nice S-6 Die Stage II. Can't tell too much about the surfaces could be lighting or the surfaces could be rough from light corrosion.
