Was hoping what was on the left obverse wasn't corrosion, not completely sure. It looks a whole lot worse in pictures. Does it end up details for whatever is on the obverse, plus the reverse scratch(s)?

I think it's seen some circ, AU details, corroded and scratched.

Is there anything that can be done to help it? Would you guys try to to do anything to it, or just look for a replacement?

Put in a windowsill for a year or longer and see if the scratch tones down. Other than that, nothing can be done IMO.

Quote: Would you guys try to do anything to it, or just look for a replacement? Well.. It's a lot better than the one I have, I'd keep it if it was me, 1924P Lincolns are hard to find in fairly good condition.

I'd keep it, and wait to buy a nicer one.

Are you sure those are scratches on the reverse and not fine wood graining?

On the obverse, across and around the E in ONE are scratches...Fine ones, since you can't see them much with the naked eye (the corrosion doesn't look like witches brew or chew spit to the naked eye either...) but they are scratches.
