Hi shadz, boy I heard that. My half isn't as good as I'd like it to be but I need the half for my earlier "classic" set so I'm looking for a real nice one to put in this one and move this one to the classic album.

Looks good! I wish I would have bought that one instead of the Littleton I'm working on. It's not quite as complete.

Thanks tkbsic. Yep, at the Littleton, my brother is working on that one so I know what you mean. I like these window albums so you can see both sides of the coin too. The album number is 3688.

Thank You jbuck....I'm going to improve my Bicentennial Eisenhower by replacing it with the S proof.

I'm actually working on the exact same album too. Just a few coins away from finishing though.

Hello TypesetsbyJ, This is a nice little album that can be completed pretty handily. I really am enjoying it and have improved upon the original completed version with several coins. It's interesting to see this set evolve. Today I got my State Quarter in 90% silver, so that was another improvement. I also am working on the Whitman 9138 and was going to put a thread up but since my early stuff is still so lame I decided not to. Would really like to see yours when you finish!

I must say your album is quite impressive and I commend you on a job well done.
What's next?

One more thing, I like that you choose Andrew Jackson for the modern dollar. He was a kick-ass president, literally he beat up some dude trying to attack him. Teddy Roosevelt would have been my 2nd choice for that spot in the album.

@welder Thank You for your comments. I like Andrew Jackson too although I'll admit to also being a huge Thomas Jefferson fan. That's the nice thing about this album, it can have many "incarnations" depending on what coins you choose. What's next?.....Well, I have the Whitman 9138 classic type set I'm working on and the Franklin's are sitting there with 25 of 35 holes filled.....

Thinking of getting this album before I get a 7070, and I'll try to fill it up with BUs. Thanks for posting pictures of it.

That would be a worthwhile undertaking and spectacular when complete. I was just at "that auction site" and saw the album (3688) listed for $15 and change.

I have all the coins needed to fill that album. They are in 2 x 2 holders. I was thinking to get a Dansco 7070 but you changed my mind. Your album is awesome.
