Its what's called in the coin business or hobby as a What's It.

A smooth down w/ minor legends head right George II 1/2d? with the countermark = 1700 in roman numerlas. Maybe later and maybe Irish ... do you see a harp on the reverse or is it too obliterated by this INDEPENDENT countermarking of a scoundrel (<BG>? It also appears as a contemporary counterfeit. Its weight in grams. If a CC someone may pay $25.00 ...

Not in Brunk and of course no association to any West Indies link.

So I would upgrade this to George III (facing right) Irish Halfpence which BTW has a regal weighs 140 grains and your coin at this gram weight is 101.8 grains. So a contemporary counterfeit with these outside the mint counterstamps of '1700' - all about.
I do believe I see a harp on the reverse and the head right portrait is obvious - and probably not a seated Britannia figure on the reverse which would then make it a British 1/2d CC ... put it on the U.S. Colonial ebay section at $9.99. Maybe somebody will buy it ... call it a Irish Contemporary COunterfeit Halfpence with multiple post mint counterstamps of 1700. Interesting ...
See my new book and buy it if this sells over $100 ... <VVBG> since you will then owe me something ... LOL.
