Below link shows canada coin struck on wrong foreign Planchet on 2011. But how about on 2004 is it Canada Minted for Philippines coins. Seems this 1 Piso Philippine coin is Magnetic. http://www.coinscan.com/err/error.htmlHere are Rev & Ob of the coins. This is middle coin (Philippines coin below on this photo) as per above photo.

Here are questions to ask yourself:
The Canadian coin is supposed to be multi-ply plated steel - what does is the Philippine coin supposed to be?
Did Canada mint any coins for that country in 2003 or 2004?
What is the weight?
Lastly, if the composition is supposed to be different, an XRF analysis might help solve the puzzle.

Weigh it! The coinscan site is wrong IMO. The 2004 1 piso was struck in Canada on a multi-ply plated steel planchet. If your quarter weighs about 5.4 grams you've got a winner, but it appears to me judging by the thickness in your first pic that you have a regular 2004 quarter. Only the bottom coin in your stack appears to be the correct thickness for a MPS 1 piso.

bkh2015- I've done some reading on that site but never really used it for anything, lots of sites have inaccuracies but I dont have any links to a better one off hand..if DBM feels its not accurate then I believe it. Good luck with that coin.

No, almost a full gram too heavy. With a scale like that it's likely your coin is within the acceptable range for a worn 1 piso. Try weighing a fair number of them.

^so am I. Is the op trying to figure out if this 1 piso is on a Canadian twenty five cent planchet? The post makes it sound like a quarter has been minted on a 1 piso planchet......

OK....Your coin appears to be acid treated, thus the reduction in weight. Evidence of this appears on the weak and mushy reeding as well as on the obverse of the coin. Pitting is also evident.
