1897 V Nickel - PCGS MS-63 But With Big Obverse Marks

What do folks think of the MS-63 grade this V nickel received from PCGS. With the two big marks in front of the bust I would have thought it would have received a lower grade.

Hmm.. ok. That is odd.
With those sorts of marks I woyld say MS details w/ Damage. The one on top could be a planchet flaw but the lower one is definitely a scratch. Although even if it were a planchet flaw it would be mentioned on the holder. This is odd, I don't see how this could have slipped through the ranks.

Definitely on the coin.

Usually with such deep scratches, a details grade is given.

Those are some pretty nasty digs--I wouldn't pay more than mid AU or maybe MS60 personally.
