I found this coin metal detecting, and am pretty happy. I do not want to sell it, for it is priceless to me, but I'm wondering what grade it is and how much it is in this condition.

Also, it is the small date, small fraction variety.

You must have dug this in the southwest. Copper becomes very corroded anywhere else.

The coin seems to have mid VF to EF details.

i can certainly see the corrosion and pitting on the surface so it sure looks like a ground dig. What a find. Nice coin.
