1947-S Washington quarter RPM-002

1947-S/S 25C RPM FS-502

Any comments, suggestions or feedback welcome!

I been taking a break from Lincoln cents and trying to find some of the popular dime, nickel and quarter varieties..

This one came in mail today, I cherrypicked this one off ebay..

One of 8 different cherrypicker's guide quarters I search through pictures on ebay for...

Took a gamble based on these two pictures...

And lucked out !! 8 for 8 last 2 weeks on ebay

My usb microscope close-ups - different lighting and angles...

Great cherry-pick! What a rush when you score an un-attributed variety, Eh?

Yeah !! huge rush !!I been doing photoshop overlays to compare known dies... to find them with bad photos...

I hopefully cherry-picked a 1941-s Large S triangular serif coming in mail tommorrow.. hopefully that one will be good only one known die ( fs-25-1941S-503 (013.5) coneca-mms-002 on the rarer one the less rare has ten dies ( fs-25-1941S-501 (013.5) coneca-mms-002 ).

Large S or trumpet-tail

there a 4 Mintmarks

a normal, small s and a scarce large s
a normal, small s with triangle serif and a large triangle Serif S - like the nickel variety

I just started doing this off ebay and it is a huge rush that a $10-40 coin could be worth over $100-1,200 and some much more...

The locations on the last image of the two coins for the mint marks are different. The one on the left is further to the left on the mint mark.

yeah its off but looks like a trumpet tail ... but then again its a gamble buying off pictures from ebay..

6 I knew were correct from picture online but the 1947-s, 1950-s and 1941-s where gamble. 2 of the 3 are good now.

making 8 varieties correct so far .. I can live with one bad pick I need date in my dansco album ...

It might be the omm-001 the omm-003 is very rare but they both in cherry picker, conceca

hopefully it will be in the mail today...

I just want to post my photoshop trick .. some will have better results then others..
