Hello all. About 25 years ago I inherited my grandfather's canadian coin collection. Included with this collection was a weird, medal looking piece that always intrigued me. It has religious symbols and I believe angel names in Latin or Greek on it. Anyone have an idea as to what it may be?

A ritual magic amulet, inscribed, as you've noted, with the names of angels, as well as various names of God, and other magic words. Handbooks on their preparation have been around for over 400 years; here's one in digitized form:

Thanks alot. Very interesting, and mysterious, since I know he was not a religious man. At all. Maybe the old man had a darker side to him hehe
