First of all I am just learning about error coins and I am not familiar with euros at all. I took some pics to see if anyone could help me with info on the type of error and value if any. I took one shot with flash in case that is better. From my side it looks like the coin got stamped twice but in opposite directions. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Joanna, welcome to the forum.
as much as I can tell from the photos, it is not a double die, or multiple struck coin, it is just a regular, circulated Italy 20 Eurocent 2005.
The artistic design may appear like an error to the eye.
The discoloration of one side of the coin is probably caused by water-damage. Those coins are made from a special aluminum bronze alloy, called "Nordic Gold" and they react to water just like that.
I am pretty sure there are people with more expertise than me at the forum, regarding error\variety Euro coins. Until they give an opinion, this is what I am thinking.
