I have had a rep going on 2 years, at first he was great (ordered a couple extra of the BoC $5 gold after sellout), since then largely ineffectual. I tried to order the piedforte through him, he said sorry, sold out, 5 minutes later I had ordered one directly from the RCM website, in hindsight maybe I should have taken him at his word and bought it on the secondary for a discount. He placed a subscription for the 20 for 20 (2 subscriptions), 0 show up, following year try again (2 subscriptions), 6 coins show up. Sometimes I get the email for the pre-release,sometimes not, never had an offer for a free coin. Overall, less than impressed with the rep.

Silveroid:
I bet you the 5k coin (or 10k cash as you want) that if a non MC member call the Mint asking to buy it, the repr. that taking the call will accept the order without any hesitation (he will just see $$$$$$$$$ in his eyes).

Oh, I understand what about you speaking, Arianzo.
Yes, I agree with you.
What I meant, the rep mail reach me late at evening, and the people wasn't aware of this coin, and only if you MC with rep, you notified.
Since the mintage is limited, I believe the hard-core art collectors will buy all Mint allocation.

I wonder if it is possible to switch reps.

My Rep messed up once and sent the gold version for $3,000. Wouldn't let me keep the error shipment at no charge.

I just got off the ph with the RCM. The free coin is not such a great deal! They shipped me 6 sacred teachings which I hadn't ordered. I now need to refuse the shipment. They again cancelled my $100 big horn sheep & $200 coin as my credit card was maxed. So hopefully I've got this sorted for now. They tried to sell just over $1000 worth of coins in 1 call. The thing is I got word Thursday, I'm going for a hip replacement surgery Oct.7. I'm supposed to be in a rehab hospital for a month. My dr. Doesn't want me at home and I will need someone to R&B my 14 yr old son. So I'm needing money for travel & other expenses first. Plus there's other coins that would take priority!

Best of luck to you Pocket Change! I hope your hip surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery. Don't worry about the coins, just look after yourself and your son. When you're up and around again, you can meet with your rep and give him/her a real good kick in the... (your choice as to where).

I appreciate all the heartfelt wishes from everyone! I agree when I'm recovered I can then use my new hip to give my rep a swift boot lol! I just hope I can get the charges reversed in under 2 weeks. They've sent so much it maxed my credit card. I don't mind buying a coin a month, occasionally more, but never $1,000 in a month. Now I'm starting to see why I was offered a rep. When I first heard people talk about having a rep, back in 2012, I thought I'd be lucky to reach MC status. I still think it's quickest to order off their site. I don't really get the benefit to the mint in offering a personal rep, when they end up paying a commission. I've never had any real problems calling the mint, especially early morning, as they open. The cs reps have always been most helpful. Those who didn't receive a free coin, when signing up with your Rep, inquire with them. A friend of mine asked his Rep about this and was given a free silver dollar. It may be worth a shot,to ask.

Lucky you guys.
I have a rep years ago, but now he disappeared, or my rep service was cancelled. Because I bought too little coins from the Mint recently, lol.

Actually, I just think the prices are too ridiculous.
You can get huge discount from the market for most coins after released. only 2 examples, if my memory serves me:
Baseball silver coins: 115--->75 Colorful birds (from2012) 30-->15 Glass candy 150--->100 More and more difficult to redeem 20/20 face value NCLT coins at banks....
If you are a seller, you have to use one Golden Superman, or ladybug to cover the whole year's risk.

Trying to narrow the collection to the desired minimum, I selling many of resent NCLTs for 50% - 60% of issue. Looks like market over saturated...to tell truth - no one interested in the new Gold Superman.
