I just got off the phone, received a call from RCM. I guess I've spent too much money at the mint! A brand new rep now has my file. I get a free coin: 1st in the Teaching Sub YAY! I do like the series. The positive aspect: she did get back the $200 &!$100 big Horn sheep coins the mint cancelled on me. This kind of scarce me that I spend too much at the mint. She did emphasis all orders go through her and I'll have a 36 hr advanced notice on regular MC members, and I'll be able to order above restricted limits, if coins available. She did mention, a person needs to be choosy! Too bad the call didn't come prior to superman release. At least I get a free silver coin for all I've spent!

I just got an offer to have a Rep today also. Not sure if that's good or bad but I accepted.

That's pretty cool! I got my rep a few months ago and I received the 2013 Arctic Expedition silver dollar for free. I would have rather received the teachings coin lol.

Congratulations By far, I haven't found any real advantage for having a representatie, but at least you are receiving a free siver coin that I never received so enjoy it!

I ask your rep, about why you never got the free coin others received. I had choice of Teachings or 1st explorer coin. I like both sets. I thought it'd be easier to finish teachings set. Sherwood David, was a gal, who's first day was today? I forget my reps name, she said today was her first day as a rep. She was very nice. Hopefully she'll be an eager beaver. I'm not sure how much use I'll have. I'm just glad she was able to restore the 2 coins they'd cancelled on me. I really do like the $ for $ series. I use it as emergency savings I can look at. Especially since interest rates at the bank are pitiful. I have sold these coins at a profit on ebay before. It all depends on designs, some are more popular. Congratulations Sherwood!!

Thanks pocket change ! No my rep is a guy that I talked to on the phone a few months ago when I called to return something. He emailed me and I kept his email address and contacted him when anything came up...like the gold superman. I emailed him today about a flawed capsule on my superman coin I just received and he asked me if I was interesterd in having him as my rep. He's been very helpful to me the last few months so I agreed. He said I'd be getting a special offer in the next few days...not sure what it will be ?
I really like the $ for $ coins also but will have to cut back as I'm spending way to much on this lately. take care !

@ Sherwood it's telling when you get an offer for a personal rep. I do see it as meaning we spend too much on Nclt !! I do mange though to sell some of the newer coins to help with my purchases. I know your fairly new to the hobby. So I hope our reps will be helpful when it comes to rare coins like superman gold. I know there's one RCM employee, I'd love for a mint rep, he mans the phones. His name is Cedric and gives superior service any time I've talked with him. Cedric was able to get me a free replacement capsule and clamshell for my glass frog coin.

Congrats guys for personal Rep It doesn't harm. Yes, yes....you will get usual for getting unlimited amount of coins like Gold Superman and other hot issues. So just prepare CC ready for massive loading and profits. Just kidding But the Rep pre-sale it nice. And also nice availability to speak with single person only. Quote: By far, I haven't found any real advantage for having a representatie, but at least you are receiving a free siver coin that I never received so enjoy it! Free coin...yammy, I also didn't receive it. @Arianzo: They gave 2013 Arctic expedition Silver Dollar. I can apart with mine (it proof and not BU) for slightly more than half a issue price. Just do not need it....and decided to narrow the stuff.

At first I was excited, thinking they were doing a telephone survey. I had alot I would of liked to share. The reps need to send to send yearly surveys. This I feel would get the mint in touch with collectors. Once I have a better rapport with my rep, I'd like to raise the issue of fakes. Reps need to be concerned about this issue. She mentioned she's been collecting for only a year.

That's exactly what I confirmed. I didn't receive free coin as well.
just added, that I have the Arctic Exploration Proof Silver Dollar, like it much, but due to narrowing the stuff selling it (to collectors) for very low price.

I have a guy named Patrick. He is real good and does his job. I never received anything for free, though that was about a year ago and they have since fallen on hard times

I have had my rep for well over a year and never got anything for free except for exceptional service.

This is very interesting, they're wooing people with a free coin. I check its even $119@ issue. It will be interesting to see the double gilded sides. I've never seen the queen gilded. I doubt they need more customers buying through reps. I liked ordering through their site. I never needed to call much. This may be more of a pain, needing to order through a rep. Even in stores I don't like being bothered by sales clerks. It's like if I need a sales person, I'd grab one.

it could be that the reps get commission and the rep is paying for the coin out of his own pocket in hopes that he will get a customer that he can make more money off of. Similar to how dealers get coins at a discounted price
