The 38-D I found in https://goccf.com/t/186630

Had some issues with my camera, but I hope these pictures are enough!

Pretty sure it's been cleaned, looking at it, but it's still an AMAZING find for the bottom of a trash bag!

I suspected that it was cleaned before I read the responses.
Still, free is free.

The window treatment does work but takes a long time.
Hmmm, in a bathroom the humidity would be higher than the rest of a house.
That might hasten the toning.
I tried the window treatment with a 16-D and 21-D dime that were cleaned.
I also had some 2X2 PAPER coin envelopes. These no doubt contained chemicals
such as sulpher. I slipped the dimes into the holders and sat them in a window
for many months. Eventually they darkened.
Also, oil from your hands many hasten the process. It is not an uncirculated coin after all.
At this point it won't hurt the coin.
No matter what you do, Dasaki, you are way ahead of 50 cents.

From the way you found it, I wouldn't care about the condition.

Thanks for all the input! I also took it to a shop and had them look at it, was told XF and offered $75 cash. I declined though, since I'm in no hurry to sell anything.

So yeah, very nice coin for free!
