Thanks for the history lesson Pacificoin, I never would have known that 48 was fake, I sure kick myself in the (insert word) for not starting collecting back in the 60's

Oh yes.... the "Homer Simpson 1945 dollar"! I know a collector in Ottawa who might be interested in the 1947 ML...

Yeah, those are sweet. I've never seen a nickel dollar with anywhere near the amount of wear of those.
