That coin sold last year at the Heritage Long Beach auction, for US$3500 plus buyer's premium (US$4,112.50 all in, plus shipping and duty to Canada). That is the market value for this coin.

Now that the lustre is fading from NCLT the uninformed and the speculator are turning to errors.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Expensive or not, the coin looks great. Really! I've never sen an error THAT awesome before.

That's a bargain compared to the 1888 NFLD 50c piece he has listed for over $275,000 CDN (plus Shipping)
