Number 1 is AU and cleaned I believe. I don't like the way the dark tone is concentrated around the portrait and eagle.

Number two might go MS and 62ish.

No matter how I tilt this telephone I can't tell if the luster is broken. Likewise the cartwheels. Am I the only one that does that? Tilt and oscillate the phone to see cartwheel? Doesn't work worth a darn! :)

1st High VF+, Low XF
2nd AU58+ The lettering in IN & T on the obverse & the nick in the SW rim on rev. give me reservations on designating MS, but it wouldn't surprise me if it got it on a "good day". An acetone bath would probably enhance the luster quite a bit.

First: XF-40 (at best.)
Second: AU-55.

I will say EF-45 for number 1 and AU-55 for number 2.
