Hi all,
I've come across this $50 note, one side is faded, not sure if it is a printing error, or PMD.

$50-Note---Is-This-An-Error?-Or-Should-I-Throw-It-Back

I'm happy to upload a larger image of just the faded side if that helps.
Any help would be appreciated. thankyou

Mate I am always suspicious of those notes.

An idea would be to search for previous threads about acetone being used to remove the ink.

Then compare your note to what has been said

Cheers

I agree with spg1 and DashTwoStep notes like this generally have been treated with acetone and I have seen numerous scams offering acetoned notes on ebay which have unfortunately sold for hundreds (think a few times thousands) of dollars.

This could well be legitimate. I'd need to see better & higher quality images to be able to help.
